Opened #230 — a PRD rather than a full plugin build.

Zendesk has zero existing infrastructure in this repo (no gateway vendor entry, no local MCP server), which puts it in the repo's own Tier 3 "new platform" bucket per CONTRIBUTING.md — PRD + maintainer approval required before implementation.

Good news on the technical side: Zendesk now ships its own official hosted MCP server (OAuth-gated, per-tenant subdomain, in early access since summer 2026), so this won't need a WYRE-built zendesk-mcp server — same pattern already used for Stripe/Slack/HubSpot/PandaDoc.

The PRD deliberately doesn't name specific MCP tools yet, since there's no live tools/list to verify against and guessing would risk the exact tool-name-drift problem tracked in #178. Once #230 gets a maintainer thumbs-up, implementation can proceed against a live connection.
