Feature Request: Boot Push Button for Next Hardware Revision

Would it be possible to add a boot push button in the next hardware version?

I am currently using CANnectivity powered by Zephyr RTOS.
To enter boot mode using mcuboot, there is currently no hardware method to trigger it directly.

Adding a dedicated boot push button would allow firmware updates without requiring an external SWD debugger.
This would simplify the update process.

I'm the author of CANnectivty. Nice to hear you are using it on the USB2CANFDV1. I do plan on adding support for entering into the (STM32) ROM DFU bootloader directly from CANnectivity by using dfu-util, but that work is not complete yet. Once this lands, you can use CANnectivity along with the STM32 ROM DFU bootloader without pressing a physical button/shorting pins at boot time.

I have only just recently added support for doing DFU directly within the CANnectivity firmware (instead of relying on DFU recovery support within MCUboot) (see CANnectivity/cannectivity#111), but unfortunately the USB2CANFDV1 is a bit pressed on flash size for hosting both MCUboot and two application partitions, which is required for this to work.
