Implementation limitation on length of descriptor chain?

Assuming we end up allowing descriptors of descriptors (see #43), do we need to specify an implementation limit on how long the descriptor chains can be?

In the V8 implementation we never use the length of that chain for anything (we don't even compute it, and we never walk along that chain more than one step), so I don't see a reason to limit it. That said, I'm not opposed to a limit if folks would like to have one.
