run script tests in github ci/cd

Root cause was interpreter ambiguity in scripts/demo/basic/demo-script.sh. It was the only demo entrypoint in scripts/demo/basic/ without a shebang while still using Bash-specific function syntax.

I isolated the fix on branch fix/issue-1348-demo-script-shebang and opened PR #1349:

Change:

• add an explicit #!/bin/bash shebang to scripts/demo/basic/demo-script.sh

Local validation:

• executed the script from a dash parent shell
• used the repo venv on PATH with the demo env vars set
• cleared prior scripts_tmp state before rerunning
• script completed successfully through to Test Complete

This keeps the fix minimal and scoped to the scripts CI failure reported here.
