Refactoring callee & source finding code to elisp-refs? Interested?

Title pretty much says it all. I'm scouring through helpful trying to write something and half of it is in helpful and the other half is in elisp-refs... seems like helpful should refactor all the introspection stuff away from the UX stuff. The introspection code seems better suited for elisp-refs. 

Are you interested in this? I could at least put up a spike to see if you like it.
