Question about the new InspectorControls "content" panel

Hey everyone,

First time posting here so I have this is correct.

I have been testing my plugin on WordPress 7.0 and noticed the core/image block now has a new InspectorControls panel (Content) where the images metadata fields have been placed.

My plugin has a custom image block, and I am considering adapting this InspectorControls because I like for the block to be close in behavior to the default WordPress blocks. I was wondering does this InspectorControls panel work pre-WordPress 7.0 or would anything place in one not be visible pre-WordPress 7.0?
