When using categories, it should be optional

When choosing to us categories, it should be optional when adding an item.

Why? In most cases, all items are put in categories. I think this is an edge case and should not be supported.

Ok. But it should be better handled. After putting in all the content you want to choose a category but there isn't one.
Then you need to create one and re-enter the content.

What do you think about the way it's handled by the blog module? Adding an ajax action to add a category looks like a nice idea to improve the flow.
