Optifine and Continuity both support CTM for slabs and stairs

So uhhh... I'm not sure where you got the idea that there was no CTM support for these...

Just put this on top of continuity's CTM, and boom, basic slab CTM.

There's a little bit of jank with double slabs, but CTM does work with both slabs and stairs. If you don't believe me, I will make a PR to prove it.
Stairs will require many, many properties files...

Great to hear! Yes, a PR for this would be very welcome. 👍

(Even if it's just a proof of concept for the normal slabs and stairs. I can write a script to generate the remaining config files from there.)

Alright, I'll get started on it. I will submit a PR adding an built-in resource pack that will enable it.
It's going to take a bit to get CTM working correctly on the stairs, because I need to get the orientations to connect right.

@GodReza Basically, my other mods have been keeping me busy. Right now I have two new Minecraft updates, lots of broken build scripts, and a security vulnerability to deal with, so I don't see this changing anytime soon. High-impact bugfixes and compatibility issues always take priority over new features.

It also doesn't help that Mo Glass currently gets the fewest downloads out of all my actively maintained mods. This is no doubt partially caused by the lack of this feature, but it often means that a new feature in another mod takes priority over connected texture support in Mo Glass because it will affect more users / has more users asking for it.

This is basically why this marked as never stale. It's on the back burner, low priority, waiting for the right time to be implemented.

totally fair, sill, i really hope connected textures eventually make it into mo glass itd be an amazing addition when the times right
any idea when you might have some free time to add the feature?
i know giving an ETA can be tricky, a lot of people misunderstand it as a promise, when really its just an estimate, thats probably why
most developers prefer not to give one. im asking from that perspective, only to get a general sense, not as an expectation or
obligation

I hope so too, it would make the mod a lot better.
But I have absolutely no idea when that might happen, for all the reasons stated above. Estimating the number of months/years would just be silly.
