importer does not show up on multiple versions of blender

Does anyone have blender importer for xplane 12? I have tried blender 2.79 to latest and all the xplane blender plugins from the begining of xplane 12 and the importer will not show up but exporter does. I am trying to modify current objects and I have no idea how to import them to edit.
