Can you help me get firetray for Thunderbird beta 69.0?

Thunderbird beta now works with KDE dialogs using XDG portal.  It's working great for me except no system tray icon.  Since I've seen Firetray needed to be updated to move from TB 52 to TB 57+ I'm wondering what it entails to make Firetray work for a different version.  Could you describe to me what it takes?
