No display, backlight on, no need to press boot to upload.

Good day.
I have one of these T-displays that behaves differently.
The other 2 I'm working with require a boot button press to upload sketches, and the screen works as intended.
This one has only a backlight, and doesn't require any boot.
I have no idea what it could be.
Any Ideas are kindly appreciated.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem! I bought 5 identical units. However, 4 are perfect! However, one of them only starts up after pressing the reset button.
