[bug] Unable to import the data from yetiforce 6.5 to 7 manually for the quote module

Hi,

When i try to update the yetiforce from 6.5 to 7 was failed. So i manually installed ver 7 and customised the modules.

Accounts, Contacts, Products, Custom Modules all the data are exported from version 6.5 as xml file and imported to ver 7 successfully.

While importing the quotation module in version 7 as xml file, facing the below error.

If i import as csv file, it return the below error.

If i export & import as individual record, it was imported successfully. But it will take more time to import all the records one by one.

Could you please guide me import the date for the quotes module.

Did you change the XML version number from 6.5 to 7?

Hi,

i didnt changed the XML version.

Now two different versions of YF 6.5 & 7 are running in the same PC using wamp server.

Accouts, Contacts, Products, Opportunities are moved sucessfully without chaning the configuration.

Could you please guide me to change the XML version numbers?

Hi,

If i export the accounts, contacts and few other modules, they exported the CSV file as UTF-8 or Windows-1252 encoding.

But if i export the quote module records, it was exported as GB18030 encoding and unable to import the data.

How to change the encoding method while exporting the csv or xml format.?

Hi,

I tried to export the all the records in the quotes module as xml format, it generate the zip file. When i try to open the zip file in windows, i am getting the below error.

I tried to export all the records in the demo environment of the quotes module. It was successfully exported in to zip file. if i open it, there are multiple xml files are available.

How to fix the quote module data export issue. ?

I tried to create the similar fields in the demo environment and tried to import one record to demo version. While importing, i am getting the below error.

Kindly guide me to identify the field name contains illegal value.

I am getting the same error on the quotes, by selecting an exisiting product from the database.
