Large Scale deployment

I have OpenMPTCProuter running with 3 wan connections, and 30 or so client devices, wokring really great. VPS is on my own host colocated at a datacentre. I am running OMR on an old computer, 8GB ram and i5 proc.

Has anyone tried running OpenMPTCProuter in a deployment with 6-10 WAN's and 3000 or so client devices, a few VLAN's, DHCP and DNS for that scale network? Considering I allocate enough hardware resources both for the router and VPS, would there be other limitations?
