Dear ChIPseeker developers,
Thank you for creating such a valuable tool!
I have two questions about customizing peak annotation in ChIPseeker:
Is there a way to restrict annotation to certain features—specifically, if I want to exclude promoter-binding clusters and focus only on 5' UTR, 3' UTR, exons, introns, and intergenic regions (regions not belonging to the former three categories)? Can ChIPseeker be configured to achieve this?
Is it possible to simplify the annotation categories and labels, so that instead of distinguishing between first and other exons or introns, I could simply annotate as "exon" or "intron" without further subdivision?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Xiao
