I claimed with my insurance, they contacted the suppliers in my country with regards to my ROG Strix G814JIR. The suppliers contacted ASUS, which informed them I have to wait for an BIOS update that might or might not come, but they are aware of the issue.
Insurance informed me I can get a new laptop without paying any excess fees. So bye bye ASUS!
