We sent a membership renewal email via mail chimp to a set of June 2022.
Next steps:

• Get process working so that we send out renewal emails to expired (and close to expired) email
• See if Stripe has membership functionality (automatic renewal/invoice ping) -- looks like it does: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscription-resource
• See if Stripe has reporting functionality (email us about memberships)
• Create process with "source of truth" regarding memberships
• Draft renewal email

I setup a Stripe pricing table with the membership options which are now annual subscriptions, and put it into the website's membership page

I then tested it by subscribing myself, and I see my subscription in the Stripe account and it'll invoice me in a year. There's also a Customer Portal Link where subscribers can cancel, pause, or update their subscriptions, see their invoice history, etc.

So I think this part of it is setup, and the next step is to

Reopening for next stage of membership appeal
