  • Replaced the sibling-runtime wrapper with a standalone zpe_image_codec package.
  • Removed internal-era tracked files and rebuilt the public surface around a fresh falsification path.
  • Installed Zer0pa Source-Available License v7.0 at the repo root and aligned the public surface to that license posture.
  • License superseded to SAL v7.1 (counsel-signed-off, 3 May 2026) before first release tag; package metadata, CITATION.cff, and .zenodo.json updated to LicenseRef-Zer0pa-SAL-7.1.
  • Added environment: pypi to publish workflow for PyPI Trusted Publishing OIDC resolution.
