space consumed in /var/lib/docker/containerd/daemon/

I was finding that my LXC was running out of space every so often.

I've been looking for where all the used space was, and I found this:

npmplus:/var/lib/docker/containerd/daemon# du -sm * | sort -n

From what I've been able to understand by searching for information, those folders contain older versions of Docker.

I tried to do a purge, but all the methods Gemini gave me are unavailable.
What would be the correct method to clean the container of old versions?

I don't see any relation to NPMplus, ask this in a docker forum or something like that please
