Is anyone else seeing this issue with the Player class?

I'm getting this every time I start the game, but if I look at the build on itch it clearly runs, so it must be something on my end :/

I don't see anything on itch either, but I am experiencing a ton of lag there.

Try doing git stash. (I don't use a graphical tool for git so I don't know about other tools.)
