Is it possible to add a field called the maximum task completion time in the agent card?

This allows the client to decide whether to call the agent and evaluate whether the agent completes the task on time, thereby evaluating the authenticity of the agent's capabilities in the Agent Card.

Nope, that's not a standard field in the A2A Agent Card right now. It's an interesting idea for sure, sounds like a good feature request for the project if you want to propose it!

Thanks for your reply. This is an important feature in practical scenarios, specially when there are more and more connections between Agents, which would cause a deep invocation or a loop costing so much time. If task completion time is on the Agent Card, Clients are enable to chooose the fastest way to complete their tasks.

Yep, makes sense. Not a standard field on the A2A Agent Card today. But it's a solid feature request given how agent interactions can get pretty deep. You should open an issue on repo, select feature request as template, and lay out your points there.

Clearly articulate the problem: Emphasize the deep invocation/looping risk and client selection pain points.
Propose the solution: Specify the max_task_completion_time field, perhaps its unit.
Highlight the benefits: Focus on enabling client choice and improving overall efficiency.

That's the best way to get it on their radar.

I might make a mistake on my comment yesterday, but max_task_completion_time is also neccessary on the agent card. I know what to do now.
