Regarding Authboss Upgradation

I’m currently in the process of upgrading a Go project from Golang v1.6 to v2.24, and as part of this, I’ve been updating all the related modules. One of the major challenges I'm facing is migrating the authboss authentication library from version 1 to version 3. The changes between these versions appear to be significant, and I'm currently stuck at a point where I'm not sure of the best path forward. I have a couple of specific questions:
Is it better to upgrade authboss directly from v1 to v3, or is it recommended to go step-by-step — first from v1 to v2, and then from v2 to v3?
Since there have been major changes between v1 and v3, is there any official documentation or migration guide that outlines deprecated features and what they were replaced with?
