Arduino IDE will not loade the arduino-nrf24l01-master giving the error, "Specified folder/zip file does not contain a valid library" I have IDE version 1.8.1.

I had the same problem too, You need to double tap on the MIRF file so it says below MIrf and not arduino-nrf24l01
