Hard-wrapping at ~70 chars in plain-text emails leads to messy rendering
in Outlook because the recipient's window width never matches the
sender's. Let Outlook word-wrap on its own: each paragraph and each list
item now lives on a single logical line. Preserved: blank lines between
paragraphs, the bulleted list structure, and the indented author-format
example (which is a display item, not prose).

I've shared a Google Sheet with you (let me know if you don't see it).
23
-
One tab per year from 1975 through 2026, skipping 2020 and 2021. Each
24
-
row is one presentation. The white columns on the left show the title,
25
-
authors, and abstract as automated optical character recognition (OCR)
26
-
software read them out of the program PDFs. Where the OCR got something
27
-
wrong, type the corrected version in the yellow column next to it.

WHAT TO DO ON EACH ROW
31
27
32
-
1. If the title, authors, or abstract is wrong, type the corrected
33
-
version in the matching yellow column. Leave a yellow column blank
34

if it was already right.

35
29
36
30
2. Set the "status" dropdown to one of:
37
31
- fixed you typed at least one correction
38
32
- checked-ok you read it and nothing needed changing
39
-
- needs-help something's wrong and you can't fix it from the sheet
40
-
(e.g. an entry seems missing, or two abstracts got
41
-
fused into one). Add a note in the "notes" column;
42
-
I'll handle these.

TIME AND PACE
62
50
63
-
Each year has 15-65 entries; a careful pass runs about 30-60 minutes
64
-
depending on how rough the OCR was. No deadline. Do as much or as
65
-
little as you want, in whichever years appeal to you. If you'd like
66
-
a suggestion of where to start, tell me what era you remember best
67
-
and I'll point you at the right tabs.
