I think the problem might be your user is not a member of the You can run the following to change this. After you change this, I would recommend a full reboot of your system. |

The video looks like it is from gain 0, but the noisy image is gain 100. The compression from the video will also smooth out the noise quite a bit. You would have to increase the bitrate to see more noise in the video. I am surprised the dark frames did not help. Do you have one of the FITS dark frames for the 60s exposure and gain 100 that you could make available? |

HI Aaron, I installed indiallsky and the same camera in rasberrypi with rasberrypi os. I think the changes you made for ubuntu is not reflected there. Could you please update that , thanks. Thanks, |

Hi,
I have Imaging Source DFM 37UX178-ML camera. I tried to setup this camera with v4L2 driver but i couldn't get the camera onboard. I updated the indi-server with the V4l2 driver as Aaron suggested in other forum, but it couldn't add me in the video users group. I have updated INDI 2.0.6. I would appreciate if I get help on this.
The official documentation says v4l2 driver supported. I am using ubuntu 22.04 server os.
