Newbie needs help with Canon 60D

Thank you for your efforts in providing us with this application.
I installed it on an RPi 4b and trying to connect by older Canon 60d.
I used these setting for the camera:

Sure. Did you select indi_canon_ccd during the setup?

Also, can you post the output of the Support Info page?

Yeah, the indiserver is not resilient to disconnecting the camera. If you unplug and replug, the indiserver service needs to be restarted.

systemctl --user restart indiserver

Okay, after reviewing your settings, I think the code will work as-is. I think you need to change the switch for your camera to Manual/Bulb mode.

I am going to make some changes in indi-allsky to make this clearer, but the code should work as-is.

YES it does ... the DSLR is firing away images while on my desktop 😀

Merged #1463 with the updates to the ISO/gain handling.

The only change you probably need to make to your settings is using FORMAT_8 which is probably RAW mode for your camera. Part of the above update is adding the labels for the settings reported by ./misc/camera_properties.py. You can re-run that to show the updated info.
