I doubt the quality would be any better even if you extracted frames out of the video. They are still lossy compressed video. In many cases, it is just a MJPEG stream which is literally a sequence of JPEG images to form a video stream. |

Just a thought seen this attached implementation of IP camera support to this “standard” Whitchurch mist IP cameras are baesd on. JPEG snapshot in on these IP cameras are not a great and would be amazing to full decodes from the live video streams?
may even then be able to control exposure and nite shifts shutter IR compensation and various other features of IP cameras….
