Mask file location

I have generated a mask and was wondering how Integrate it. I've read the wiki but it's a little confusing. Do I save the image to my RPI or can it be uploaded another way?

You just have to copy it over to the RPi (the home directory is fine) and just specify the file location in the config. The config has a validator to ensure it can open and read the file.

The mask file should match the orientation of the base mask correct? The software will rotate the mask the same as the camera configuration? Or will the mask need to me aligned.

The mask should be based on the image in the base mask image which is oriented the same as the data directly out of the camera.

All of the operations that involve the mask are performed on the data that comes directly out of the camera, before any [software] flipping, rotating, and scaling. Most all sky cameras use a lens which flips the image horizontally and vertically, therefore the default settings in indi-allsky will flip the image back before it is presented to the user. However, for processing, we only care about what the camera directly sees.

when i add the mask location in Indi. it doesn't save and disappears when reloading the page.

What is the error displayed when you try to save the mask setting?

No errors on the mask file or location. Ignore the temp sensor slots. But when I refresh the config page the path to the file disappears

The config will not save until you fix the other errors in the form. I am assuming you have overlapping temperature sensor slots. The submit button will turn green when a successful save happens.

I am guessing this is an upgrade. About a year ago, I made a change to the config values related to sensors which caused all of the sensor slot values to be the same. This causes a save error like you are seeing. You just have to ensure each slot selection is unique and the sensor has no overlapping values.
