Any news on the auto gain development?

Auto-gain has been implemented as of #2430 . I have been actively using it on my cameras since I merged it.

Does it work on a IMX462 and how to enable it?

You should be able to test it by just enabling Auto-Gain. It is a software feature which is not specific to any camera.

Where do i find it, i don't see it in the camera config settings.

It is on the Camera tab under the standard gain settings.
