New to this software...

Hi. New to this software and all sky imaging (although a seasoned astrophotographer).
AltAir Astro have recommended this software for my GPCAM130 for all sky imaging - but I am not an IT person so am looking for a dummies guide to setting up and running this with my GPCAM.

Are there any video guides available? At the moment I use a dfferent sofware with a Windows PC, but strugglign with it hence now looking to this, which I understand will run on a Pi 4.

I do not have any videos available. I have been considering recording something, but time has not permitted it.

The Getting Started page in the wiki should get you most of the way there. You need to build INDI using the included script and perform the setup for indi-allsky.

You will need to setup your system with the indi_altair_ccd driver.

Altair/Touptek cameras have some known idiosyncrasies. The wiki has info about resolving these:

This is the first instance I have heard of someone using the GPCAM130, so I do not have specific information about this camera. Once you get the camera initialized, you could post your Support Info bundle here and I can provide more help.

You will need to compile the INDI library. The Altair driver is included with INDI. There is a script in the git checkout for indi-allsky that automates this build for you.

Charles do you already have an rPi and are comfortable using it? that may be a place to start.
