I believe this is the expected behavior. You have enabled Thresholds for the Dew Heater function. The dew heater would not activate until at least the Low threshold (+6) which means the temperature would be within +6 degrees of the dew point. The reason the dew heater enables and then disables is because the default value of the temperature and dew point is 0. The is just the default value of all of the variable slots. Once a valid temperature and dew point are calculated, the threshold is no longer breached and the dew heater turns off. |

I have a GPIO pin 27 assigned for controlling dew heater with a relay ON/OFF affair. I have it running on PI5. Dew Heater Level is reporting 0 from boot but after a few minutes relay clicks on but Dew Heater Level is still 0. Been banging my head with this for some time. It is as if the software is not controlling Pin or so it seems. I have tried it on GPIO 17 and GPIO 22 both same outcome off for a few minutes and then on forever. Also the relay jumpers are set to LOW.
