Data loss in transmitting big amount of data

When we send big messages over the network, for e.g. about 2500 bytes of data (say occupancy grid) , there is very huge data loss. I think the present protocol is not the best and can be improved.

Please excuse the late reply. This is unexpected. Can you give some more details? What kind of transmission did you use? Unicast or multicast? What values do you parameters "num_link_retrans" and "num_e2e_retrans" have? Over how many hops do you transmit the data?

Can someone please help me here.. I tried to import the project in the eclipse. Even though it has header files included it shows the compilation error in adhoc communication file
