Wonky period system
The current system for tracking and updating the webiste based on time periods is rather wonky. It pulls data from several different sources in several different files, and is easy to misconfigure, resulting in the wrong page being shown at the wrong time. Improving the current period system to be more centeralized and readable would improve the developer experience and lower the chance of mistakes being made in the future.
