Status of PR3347, onedrive fix for foreign key constraint issue

Hi - I am running onedrive v2.5.6-30-gc6dc249, which was built on July 7th with a git clone/checkout PR3347, ostensibly to patch the foreign key constraint issue that I reported. My question is, has this been incorporated into a formal release yet? At that time, I was asked to wait for v2.5.7, or something like that, and I am wondering if that is available yet?

v2.5.7 has not yet been released. That fix, as per advice back then, would be merged into 'master' - and it was.

If you build from 'master', you will get onedrive v2.5.6-51-gb4179d1.

There is currently no ETA for v2.5.7. The roadmap is to finish implementing Feature Request 2360 before considering a new release.

Thank you for your quick response. Please forgive me, but I am not too familiar with git - I assume that, if I do a clone with no options, I will get v2.5.6-51-gb4179d1?

You can clone 'master' in the following manner with the following bash script:

#!/bin/bash

rm -rf ./onedrive-master/
git clone https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive.git onedrive-master

This creates a folder with the name of what you are cloning.

I thought about it and I decided that a straight clone would be enough, so I went ahead and built gb4179d1. Was I correct in using ./configure --enable-debug --enable-notifications; make clean; make;? Thank you.

Correct, you can build and then install 'master' in the following manner:

./configure --enable-debug --enable-notifications; make clean; make;

then to install:

sudo make install;
