Loading WhatsApp Messages slow in report

I generated an iLeapp report from a full file system acquisition of an iPhone. The iPhone had a lot of WhatsApp messages which are all acquired. When selecting the WhatsApp Messages in the report the loading and showing of the WhatsApp messages is very slow. It can take up a couple of hours before showing the WhatsApp messages in the report. Anyone a tip for speading this up? Thanks.

LAVA will most likely show this without an issue. Some reports are simply too heavy for the HTML output.

Until then you can parse your extraction with IPED. It doesn't have many mobile parsers, but WhatsApp parses it well.

As @prosch88 already said, this is the limit of HTML reports when too many records have to be rendered in the Web browser.
We are actively working on developing a new viewer (LAVA for LEAPPs Artifacts Viewer App) that will solve this problem and offer many more reporting features.
In the meantime, you can use the WhatsApp messages extracted in the TSV format report generated by iLEAPP: <report_folder>/_TSV Exports/WhatsApp - Messages.tsv
