Everything Is Bright & Dandy

Because eveything is bright & dandy! Just needs a bit of extra effort to get there.

Starting with CSS intro at Chapter 10 of Docker HTML & CSS book, it is easy to notice that css styling rules all depend on which element you select, and each element is treated as a box.

selection could be global with *, general with header, main, nav or specific with .ThisClass, #ThisID. The potential is endless, though what you would want to work with is implementing templates depending on the content and target audience. Just make sure to put it in a seperate folder and call it in the HTML file with the <link rel= "stylesheet" href="styles.css"/> in the head.

Inspect element with CTRL+SHIFT+C in a webpage to learn, copy and test CSS attributes seems to be my way to go. Although there are better practices for beginner frontend work to get the general feeling of how to manipulate elements right.

Color templates seem to be my kryptonite. No matter how much I learn, I end up using greyscale for my work.

The main color attributes allows for RGB, hex codes, and color names as input. RGBA has an additional input for opacity called alpha, and HSLA stands for Hue, Saturation, Lightness and Alpha. Hue resembles a color bridge with saturation corrects for intensity and lightness adjusts for tone.

My main to go color picker seems to be Adobe Color Wheel. It offers you some kind of structure when you want to decide on a color pallete.

It is still going to be grey scale for my work.
