Would be great to integrate an UDP Interface to use with Log4OM. I use JTDX with JTAlert to push the FT8 QSOs via JTAlert over an UDP port to LOG4OM. The same with PSTRoatator.

I'm not clear on exactly what you are suggesting that OHC do here.

I had a quick read of the first PDF and the writeup completely misses the fact that applications like wsjt-x can send to multicast addresses, which we already support.

The whole thing about log40m sending out wsjt-x contacts looks to have been done as a rebroadcast to work around the shortcomings of only being able to have a single listener on a non-multicast port.

Is there something else that log40m sends out over UDP that I am missing?
