Post images not available

Hello, great plugin.
Wanted to warn that there seems to be a new problem:

• All text data from the posts is rendered ok, just the post's image is replaced by the plugin's generic "default_image" thumbnail:

"https://i.imgur.com/p4juyuT.png" -- "NO IMAGE AVAILABLE"

it seems the 'thumbnail' output is now always empty

[thumbnail] => [...empty value]

Any clues on this problem ?
Did Medium change something on their API ?
