[Filters] filter function fails after navigating to a page and going back

This may be a Loris-wide issue but lets try to find a solution

When you go to the biobank and atart typing a barcode the results progressively filter out, if you have a partial barcode typed and click on one of them to navigate to the specimen page, then click the return to filter or back button, the filter is still populated with the string but the table is empty.
