Improve the performance #45

Feature Request:
I've generated a report with PageSpeed Insights, and it seems there is room for improvement, especially on mobile devices: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-codex-storage/q0ahn28cen?form_factor=mobile.
Why is this feature important?
This is important because, on mobile, the network is usually not as reliable, causing the page to take longer to load, which may lead to users leaving before it's fully loaded.
Additionally, performance can impact SEO as well.
How should it work?
We should follow the recommendations generated by the report:
- Reduce image sizes
- Serve images in next generation formats
- Remove blocking resources
