I have successfully created Ubuntu 22 images with Standard B2als v2 VM. Here is the fork of this repo with Azure Pipeline configured to build Ubuntu agents |

I'm looking to use these scripts to create Ubuntu2004 and Windows2019 images for some VMSS agents, and was wondering for those who've done the same, what VM sizes you went for, or recommend?
I'm thinking of using Standard_D4s_v3 for Ubuntu, so I can take advantage of ephemeral OS disks due to the disk size, but I won't get away with those for Windows. What sizes have worked for you for Windows?
Any tips appreciated, thanks
