Was dark mode removed?

I remember site being not so bright, in another words I remember using dark mode....was dark mode removed or I just can't find the switch?

On my mobile phone it is dark just like you showed, apparently because of my device theme. On desktop, web version is bright white[0]. I just want dark theme.

Hey! Is it still revelant? I've tested it with my two browsers, Brave and Librewolf. (Chromium vs Firefox -based)
In Brave I get dark mode, In Librewolf the website is white.

The first thing that comes to mind is Fingerprinting Protection. For example, this is the case with Librewolf:

"with ResistFingerprinting enabled Librewolf will force web content to display in a light theme"

Also Linux desktop environments / tiling WMs are a mess when it comes to dark / light mode. So it is common that OS reports to applications that you have light theme when you use dark. But if you explicitly tell browser to use dark theme in the browser settings it should not be the case.

I found out that the site uses prefers-color-scheme[1][2][3] which is CSS feature to detect if the user prefers light or dark theme based on his/her operating system theme or browser theme settings. Browser theme overrules operating system theme although it doesn't seem to work for me on Windows 10 and Android when the theme is set to dark, only browser dark theme detection works. The default theme of learnxinyminutes is light theme.
