<p class="u-text u-text-default u-text-2"> We, students from <b>Ryan International School , Vasant Kunj</b> ,have designed and created an exceptional Adaptive Traffic Control System that utilizes the power of technology to transform traffic management. By harnessing the capabilities of Raspberry Pi and employing advanced camera systems, these students have crafted a solution that dynamically responds to changing traffic conditions. <br> Here's a simplified breakdown of how our <b>Adaptive Traffic Control System</b> works:<br>
<br><b>1. Collecting Data</b>: We have strategically placed four high-quality cameras at intersections to capture real-time traffic information. These cameras are connected to Raspberry Pi, a tiny yet powerful device. The cameras continuously monitor the movement of vehicles, helping us gather essential data.<br><b>2. Analyzing Car Count</b>: Our Raspberry Pi processes the data collected from the cameras to identify the lane with the maximum number of cars. This analysis gives us valuable insights into traffic congestion and allows us to prioritize the lanes that require immediate attention.<br><b>3. Smart Light Control</b>: With the knowledge of the lane that has the most cars, our Adaptive Traffic Control System dynamically adjusts the traffic lights. In the next turn, it gives a green light to the prioritized lane, allowing more vehicles to pass through and reducing congestion.<br><b>4. Fairness in Action</b>: To ensure fairness and equal distribution of traffic flow, our system employs a sequential approach to green light activation. If a particular lane has not received a green signal for a few turns, our system proactively assigns a green light to that lane in the following turn. This prevents any lane from being neglected and maintains a balanced flow of traffic.By using this intelligent and dynamic approach, our Adaptive Traffic Control System optimizes traffic flow, reduces delays, and minimizes congestion at intersections. This means shorter travel times, better fuel efficiency, and increased safety for everyone on the road.<br>
