This skill set is terribly slow in GPT-5.6

The first slow source is using-agent-skills. When it adds up to GPT's built-in skill router, it's a disaster.

The second, I really don't know. I just feel GPT-5.6 to be slow enough for itself and when I equip it with 24/23 skills, a runtime rebuilt takes 6 hours to do. This skill set work well with me in GPT-5.5, but I think it doesn't fit in with 5.6.

I'm not professional in this. It's just a user report.

Thanks for reporting it, and don't discount it for not being a formal benchmark.

Two things would help me act on this: does dropping using-agent-skills alone fix the slowness on 5.6, and roughly how many skills are loaded when you see the very long runs? If the double-router is the main cause, the fix is a documented "don't load our router where the host already has one," and that's worth doing regardless.

@nucliweb this one is in your wheelhouse given the cross-agent work on #370 and #245. The reporter's sharpest point is that stacking our using-agent-skills router on a host that already has native skill routing gives you two routers doing the same job, which would be a real gap in our guidance rather than just a slow model.

If that holds, the fix is a documented "don't load our meta-skill where the host already routes skills itself" note in the affected setup guides. Have you seen the same double-routing effect on any of the agents you've tested?
