I am using this font to display a manuscript from the Meiji era, which uses these alternate katakana. These codepoints are now provisionally reserved for this purpose, and will likely be part of Unicode 18, following the proposal https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2025/25151r-katakana-ne-wi.pdf
I currently use an overlay font which just includes these two glyphs (derived from historical glyphs in the same style, with geometry adapted to Source Han Serif), but would like to be able to use ordinary Source Han Serif for this in the future.
