demo is not working

Hello All,

I wanted to try the software so
I tried https://audiobooks.dev/audiobookshelf/login with demo/demo but it loads forever and when I refresh I get
Cannot GET /audiobookshelf/login.
Can anyone help me ?

It should work now. I am not sure what caused the issue and I reverted the ABS version for a minor version for now. I implemeted a "fix" that now the login page will be shown even for https://audiobooks.dev/audiobookshelf/login
Please try again and then close this dicussion if working :)

What issue do you mean exactly?

The login error should be exclusive to the demo server because I have made some modifications to ensure that the demo account cannot be deleted, and each user has their own book progress, etc.

For me, it’s 1 AM, so I will go to sleep. If the issue persists, please create a issue if you can't find a similar issue.

Tomorrow (or later today ^^), I will also look into it if nobody else has solved it already.

This looks like running from source?
If so make sure the client and the server are running.
(So a new console to run from /server). Best is to use the PPA/Docker ofc
