I've had to do something similar for work many years ago (dominant color extraction), and I used this to get an idea for my own algorithm (I found this insufficient for my needs): https://github.com/pixelogik/ColorCube However, I've since changed my method, as you can greatly improve the performance by first generating something like a blurhash and pulling color info from that |

I have always wondered if I picked books based on the color of the cover. You know, some subconscious bias towards books of specific colors or hues. And so, I was thinking if there's any app/util/extension that could look at all the covers in all the folders and come up with a color map? If you know of any, please let me know.
If there isn't: I don't code, but I was thinking of vibe-coding in python to get this done. Does anyone know where and how I should start? Like are there any libraries that do this?
