Include web applications and/or deployment in workshop #3

Description

@drheinheim

@gassmoeller Unfortunately I missed this workshop, but finally reviewed the material. Thanks for this! It seems the focus of this was on libraries, or perhaps a locally installed software. Here are a couple of suggestions for next year:

  1. Cover tools for software distribution, e.g. PyPi for Python libraries.
  2. Include web applications? This could perhaps be a different workshop, since there's a big difference between a useful library in a specific language and a web application, which requires servers, etc. At the same time, there are some basic tools that facilitate getting up and running for a basic/prototype web application that the scientist-developer can benefit from. I'd be happy to help put together such a workshop next year, either as an extension of this workshop or as a separate one.
