how to create a 1d velocity model 

Hii can anybody suggest an example to produce an 1d velocity model using madagascar

I tried something  like Flow('vel',None,'spike n1=200 n2=200 d1=15 d2=15 | math output="x1*0.5+1500" ')

But it doesnot work.
