show_custom_options command documentaion

Hello,
I'm working on writing an extension and was trying to use the show_custom_options command as a selector, but haven't been able to find any documentation or examples of its usage, either at the command line or through the python wrapper. I can get it to display a single option (example below), but all the different combinations of newlines, comma separators, dictionary enclosed in quotes with no luck. Just looking for any guidance

sioyek --execute-command show_custom_options --execute-command-data "Option A"

You can separate the options by |. For example, show_custom_options with one|two|three shows these three options.
