Hi team,

After upgrading from 1.4 to 1.8.5, we experienced exactly the same issue described in #66675.

We also cannot connect using the client ID and secret in abctl local credentials (or set an email, as described in #65608 - but our email set on 1.4 continues to allow us access).

The call to /applications/list is returning empty strings to the interface:

This is a big problem - people can't make any calls to Airbyte using client id and secret. can this be escalated?

This issue is affecting me and it's currently acting as a blocker in systems already deployed in production.
Would be great to prioritize it

I'm just testing this on the latest build with abctl, the platform version, and helm chart version. I can see client credentials in abctl and the UI, generate an access token, and make requests to /applications/list that return the client credentials.

We're very close to a new version release and just doing some final tests and fixes. Thanks for your patience!
